Entrance[]

Crane Claw[]

A crane claw overhead drops him.

Special Attacks[]

Neutral B - Bomb Kick[]

Bomberman gets out a bomb from the game and kicks it forward. Yes, you can actually do what shouldn't have been removed in the first place. The bomb just looks like a glowing fireball. It is kicked forth and explodes on anyone it touches. The bomb size can also be charged upon holding B. Though as he charges, he remains vulnerable, but those who attack the bomb will set it off. The kick power can go from mini to mega. In the air, he basically just drops a bomb and then drop-kicks it down, making it fall faster down.

Side B - Ice Bomb[]

Bomberman throws forth a glowing orb of cryogenic chemicals and nitroglycerine that increases the chances of actually freezing players, Bomberman included, the closer they are to the center of the blast zone. As B is held, he holds onto the bomb. This causes him to move at walking speed, and he has a limited amount of time to carry the bomb before it goes off. Depending on the direction you move the analog stick, he throws the bomb in that direction.

Up B - Bomb Booster[]

Bomberman sets a bomb and gets a boost forth to the direction you point him in with the analog stick. Anyone in the blast zone of the bomb is hurt. Anyone who you crash into is hurt. Anyone who hits the bomb while you're trying to choose where to launch yourself will manually cause it to detonate. Fire attacks will double the blast zone size. If anyone's underneath the explosion, they are meteor smashed and/or plowed into the ground.

Down B - Remote-Detonate Bomb[]

A bomb is placed on the ground. When it's set, you can pick it up and carry it around along with other opponents. If you dash forward with the bomb in his claw, he rolls it forth like a bowling/skee ball. While it's on the ground, press down+B to detonate it. Be careful, Bomberman can take damage too! In the air, you can throw it at opponents' heads in order to troll them during combat.

Final Smash - Revenge[]

The crane arm grabs Bomberman and takes him to the bomb launcher. Crosshairs appear on the screen along with Bomberman's head. The crosshairs can be moved around with the analog stick. Press A to shoot the bombs. These bombs can be grabbed by players and then thrown at Bomberman, so you can move his control center left and right with the shoulder buttons. This ends when you kill everybody, 30 seconds pass, you get bombed, or when you've used up all your bombs.

Snake: "What happened to Bomberman?"

Otacon: *groans* "That is Bomberman, Snake. Except this version is from the shitty remake of Bomberman known as Act Zero."

Snake: "For some reason, I just like this design of him."

Otacon: "But...why? Nobody liked Act Zero. It was a big fail for Hudson. Do you have any idea how pissed off fans would be if he was in Smash Bros.?"

Snake: "Yeah, I know. But this is Lawl."

Otacon: "Well, you got to have some reason for liking his design."

Snake: "Nope."

Otacon: *groans* "Snake..."

Character Description[]

Bomberman Zero comes from the horrid remake for the Xbox 360 known as Bomberman: Act Zero. In the game, you play as Bomberman (or Bomberwoman) whose a slave to sadistic, latitorial game broadcast across the entire world, much like the Hunger Games. The game had terrible powerups, camera, and the same stage again and again until your eyes bleed through your ears and your mouth foams through your nose. The game was the second worst reboot/remake according to ScrewAttack because of Space Raiders where the game developers tried taking an arcade classic and make it more hardcore (and no, they didn't do well with the conclusive comparison between that and the original Space Invaders).

Trivia[]

  • Bomberman Zero is obviously less likely to be in Smash Bros. than the original Bomberman.
  • Some of the regular Bomberman quotes will sound more metallic.
