Neutral B - Jellyfishing Net

Patrick pulls out a JellyFishing net (which is a butterly net made of bamboo). It can be used to catch opponents and projectiles. If it is a projectile, it can be thrown back at an opponent by holding B and moving the control stick (Patrick's eyes will move in that direction to show where it will be thrown for better aim), and then releasing B to throw it. Until the projectile is thrown, Patrick will have the net out, which will half his speed. Pressing down B will put the net back in Hammerspace, releasing the projectile inside. If it's an opponent, he or she can break free from the net by simple button mashing or waiting for a few second. If the net is ripped twice, the move can't be used unless Patrick is KO'd.

Move Origin

This move comes from the hobby of both SpongeBob and Patrick, JellyFishing (which is basically the underwater equivalent of bug catching) first seen in Nature Pants. The net being highly breakable comes from the nets' durabilty. Instead of being made of fibers, the net seems to be made out of strings (which is suggesting from the sound effect that plays when it gets ripped).

Side B - Ice Cream

Patrick throws a chocolate ice cream cone. Much like Judge, the move's outcome has different chances as the table below will show.

This move comes from a running gags first appearing in Big Pink Loser, where Patrick sometimes says "Ice Cream at various times.

Up B - Cannonball!

Patrick does a cannonball. If he hits an opponent, he or she will get plowed into the ground. If he doesn't, it makes a splash with 2 waves emerging. The higher he is when he attacks, the longer the splash and the bigger the waves.

In [1] Patrick does a cannonball to get up to dry land.

Down B - Slack-off

Patrick takes a nap. While sleeping, Patrick's health is constantly healed. If he is hit, he wakes up. He can also wake up manually by pressing B. However, this causes one-second hitlag.

This Move comes from a running gag where Patrick is often seen sleeping.

Final Smash - THIS IS PATRICK!

Patrick throws a phone. If it hits an opponent, he or she will pick up the phone and ask "Is this the Krusty Krab?" (via sentence mixing). Patrick then yells "NO, THIS IS PATRICK!" and forcefully hangs up, causing the reciever to get KO'd. Hanging up also causes large shockwaves to appear on the sides that can be easily jumped over, but can cause an instant KO upon direct contact.

Move Origin

This move infamously comes from a scene from Big Pink Loser. Where Patrick forcefully hangs up a phone saying "This is Patrick!".

Neutral B - Salivation

Patrick spits his salivation at the opponent. Obviously it'll become a slip trap upon hitting the ground. If it lands on an opponent's face, it'll reverse their controls for only 15 seconds. You can charge up the attack. During the charge-up, Patrick gurgles up some more salivation. If anyone manages to land a hit or two on him while he's charging, he'll spit out his spit early. The longer he charges it up, the further the spit will fly. The spit won't do any knockback to Patrick, and at a full charge, it just moves the opponent back a mere bit. After spitting, some saliva will be left over, dribbling from his mouth. The bigger the spit he last did, the more he drools. During the dribbling, enough salivation can leave a slip trap. While you're waiting for that, Patrick can sometimes slip over his own spit.

Side B - Fruits

Patrick gets out 1 of 2 different fruits. While it's out, he lifts it over his head. He can walk and run, but he unfortunately can't jump while he wields a fruit. The fruit will rot over time and them explode. You can throw them by pressing B. The fruit will manage to hit the nearest target that Pat's facing as long as it's stationary. The target is represented by a gloved hand that points at that target. The first fruit is known as the throw fruit, which is a watermelon, actually. If it manages to land on a ramp, it will roll down like a barrel, but do half as much damage upon direct contact when it rolls down fast enough. If it hits the flat ground, the juice makes a weak slip trap. The other fruit is the freezy fruit. If it hits an opponent, it freezes them for 15 seconds unless they're burning. If it lands on the ground, flat or otherwise, it will become a more effective slip trap.

Up B - Hooky

A fishing hook appears in front of Patrick. Sometimes, it'll have some cheese for bait attached to it. Anyone who makes direct contact with the cheese will be healed by it, but Patrick can get healed the most. If anyone touches the bare hook aside from Patrick and his teammates, they take 1% damage due to how sharp it is. When Patrick grabs the hook, he's instantly pulled upward. As he's pulled up, you need to release the hook or Patrick will commit an accidental suicide, whether he'd be spun out the screen or crashing on the screen. In the air, Patrick is reeled forward. As he's reeled forth, you can move him up and down with the analog stick.

Down B - Falling Fool

Patrick will put on an official Krusty Krab employee hat. After he puts it on, he forgets to stand and then falls down. This will deal 1% damage to him. The more he flops, the more damage he takes. However, this deals more damage after each flop. You'll take up to 5% damage when you keep on doing the flop. If you flop near the edge of a platform, you'll just take damage upon hitting the ground, and the higher and harder the fall, the more damage he takes. However, he can of course deal damage upon landing. In fact, at a tall enough height, he can plow the opponent into the ground. The bigger the necessary height, the longer the opponent's plowed. If he flops at the edge of a stage near a pit, instant KO. On land though, you can remove the hat by basically moving down and pressing B again or having someone knock off Patrick's hat.

Final Smash - Gummi Wonderland

Patrick first eats up a large amount of bubble gum similar to one way Squidward ate up some krabby patties when he got into the patty vault. As he eats up the gum, the damage he's taken before he used the final smash will be replenished. In total, he has 300% damage healed before the actual purpose of the final smash begins. After he points out how easy the cleanup job was, he then starts hiccuping. This makes a large gum-made bubble. With each hiccup, the bubble increases size. Nobody can pop the bubble, but after 15 seconds of hiccuping, the bubble will pop, leaving gum everywhere. Those that do or don't dodge will be stuck on the gummed up floors. Anyone who didn't dodge or was standing on the ground is unable to jump for the 20 seconds the gum is there, left over from popping. Anyone who was also about to wall jump will stay glued to the wall. Patrick, however, can throw hits onto the opponents, but he'll move at a slower pace for the length of time he's gummed up the stage. His attack speed will also be slowed down, but at a big enough charge, he can knock an opponent out/off of the gum. When it's all over, no knockback kicks in.

Character Description

Patrick Star is SpongeBob's best friend. He is a dim-witted but well-meaning Starfish.He's not the smartest fish in the sea. Patrick is quite overweight and loves ice cream and many other junk foods. He is the deuteragonist of the show. He resides under a rock. SpongeBob and Squidward are his neighbors. Patrick is portrayed as fat, lazy, unmannered, unintelligent, and generally ignorant. Unlike most of the other main characters, Patrick lacks a nose and possibly fingers.

• His actual eye color is hard to confirm. Reason: in SpongeBob SquarePants: Typing, he had brown eyes in the minigame Senseless Patrick. In the episode Goo Goo Gas, Infant Patrick had blue eyes. In SpongeBob's Super Bouncy Fun Time, his eye color was the same as FlutterShy's.
