Garfield jumps out of the Sunday Papers and onto the battlefield.
Special Attacks

Neutral B - Stopwatch
Garfield gets out a stopwatch and freezes anyone and anything in the same range as Carlos Trejo's campo electromagnetico. The freeze lasts for 10 seconds. For 10 seconds, the opponents can't be knocked back by any attacks from Garfield. Items and projectiles that are around Garfield are also frozen in place, allowing him to grab and use them as items. The watch needs to cool off every use, so you can't spam it.
Side B - Lasagna
Garfield throws a piece of his favorite Italian dish. It has a 1/3 chance of becoming edible upon hitting the ground. They also have a 1/3 chance of becoming a slip trap. Hold down B and Garfield will eat the slice of lasagna. There's a 1/5 chance that he'll eat a lasagna that he doesn't like, thus reversing the purpose of eating it. You have to wait a while to eat another piece.
Up B - Pufferfish
Garfield eats a pufferfish and it inflates in his stomach, making him fly upward. He can move left and right during this. He ascends in a fashion similar to Mama Luigi's magic balloon, except it lasts 5 seconds. Small projectiles and such bounce off of him while he's inflated. If you hit a ceiling, the pufferfish hits Garfield repeatedly on it until it deflates.
Down B - Naptime
Garfield gets in his bed and rests, slowly recovering from battle damage. While you sleep, you can grab items up close and in front with A, especially food items. Sometimes Garfield will have a dream bubble appear over his head. It's either of him eating food (bizzarely healing him twice as long) or fish jumping an undersea gate (they might even jump out of the thought cloud and damage anyone
overhead). You'll wake up from attacks or loud noises. Press B to wake up manually (gives off 2-sec. lag).
Final Smash (Galaxy) - Z̛͙͑̎ͩ̋̂̀Ǎ͎̓̎ͤ̏́L̫̝̩̫̝̫̽͢G̣͚̮̣̓ͥO̶
Garfield gets a more hellish design and is reduced to walking around and doing single jumps. Any opponent he passes will hear "̥͕͊͒Ḩ̞̜̚Ë̮̻̮̹̼̩̈́ͮ ̺̫̬̯̜͘C̘̜̤͞Ŏ̥̦͟M̘̖̼̈͌̓ͅE͎̙͓ͣͪṠ̻̰̫̭̥̞͋ͨͣ̚͘"̰͈̜͗́̅ͣ̑̚ from him. Anyone hearing that suffers from constant damage for some reason. As the numbers get redder, the player mugshot shown aside slowly gets creepier. No matter what healing items you use, damage will remain constant until you're KO'd. There are 10 phases your character mugshot and other such things go through:
- Teary-eyed
- Bloody tears
- Black eyes
- Decaying
- Redder skin
- Tentacle limbs
- Black goop
- Unreadable names
- From red to gray skin
- Darker tint
Garfield will revert back to normal in 30 seconds, after everyone's been zalgofied, or after he walks off the edge and into the offscreen pit. The zalgofication goes away after you or someone else KO's one of those opponents.

Final Smash (Comedy Combat) - I hate Mondays
Garfield takes out a calendar that shows a Monday. Then, he says that he hates Mondays that all opponents are felt asleep while big lasagna is coming to stage to restore Garfield's health. It is a clone of Peach's Final Smash.
