Entrance[]

Arising from the Ocean[]

Godzilla comes out from a pool of the ocean that then evaporates instantly.

Special Attacks[]

Team Super Lawl[]

Neutral B: Atomic Breath[]

Godzilla's signature weapon is his distinctive atomic breath. Godzilla's dorsal fins glow ominously, and then he lets loose with a concentrated blast of radiation from his mouth (22%). This power is commonly mistaken for breathing literal fire.

This attack comes from every Godzilla movies.

Side B: Tail Attack[]

Godzilla attacks the enemy with his tail (18%).

Up B: Trampoline Jump[]

Both Godzilla and Super Godzilla jumps without bedning their knees.

This move comes from Godzilla NES game and also seen in AVGN review.

Down B: Rock Throw[]

Godzilla throws a rock at the opponent (23%).

Final Smash: Super Godzilla[]

Godzilla transforms into the much more powerful Super Godzilla.

Neutral B: Nova Breath[]

Super Godzilla fires a stronger version of the Atomic Breath from his mouth. However, it is orangish-yellow in color, and it does a lot of damage. (40%).

Side B: Explosive Shoulder Ram[]

Super Godzilla rams into the opponent with broadend shoulders. The enemy then explodes temporarily (37%).

Down B: Navel Blast[]

Super Godzilla's most powerful attack. The Navel core shines as energy swirls around the tip of the navel. Finally, Super Godzilla unleashes a blast from its navel The Navel Blast,When the Tip Turns into The Head of Super Godzilla that swirls until the tip of the beam morphs into the head of Super Godzilla and continues to blaze through until it hits the opponent (90%).

Lawl Galaxy[]

Neutral B - Atomic Breath[]

Godzilla performs his signature destructive ability from possibly every Godzilla film he's in. Upon tapping B, Godzilla shoots 3 atomic blasts from his mouth, and each can be aimed in any direction with the analog stick. They also have a 1/3 chance of creating flame traps upon hitting the ground. You can charge it up to exhale a stream that can be steered in any direction. This attack has a power bar for spam prevention. The more this is used, the lower the power. It does replenish over time, though.

Side B - Wrecking Ball[]

Godzilla swings forth on a wrecking ball, wearing a pirate's hat and glasses. Anyone in the way takes an amount of damage and knockback that varies the farther away the kaiju monarch is. At a specific amount of distance at least, the wrecking ball can knock down breakable structures in certain stages instantly. This special attack is also good for quick horizontal recovery. Press A to jump off the ball. Upon jumping off, it can deal half as much damage as it did when Godzilla was on it.

Up B - Mothra[]

Like Gwonam, Mothra flies forward as Godzilla latches onto her. She can be moved up and down with the analog stick. Press B to make her shoot her eye lasers (which are those tomato-looking projectiles). Move down and press B to have Mothra spread poison powder, which gives off the effect it has in its name. Press down to let go of Mothra. She can't be resummoned unless she is off the screen (and no, not as in out of the zoom-in shots or whatever, I mean off the sight of the field).

Down B - Building Crush[]

Godzilla gets out a building torn off the ground. He swings the building like a bat and it has an amount of impact similar to the Scout's Atomizer, but a little stronger. If this is used in the air, he falls down, using the building to break his fall. He can be horizontally controlled, but it's only centimeter by centimeter, pretty much. The bigger the height you fall from, the greater the damage. You can plow opponents into the ground sometimes. Also when you land, the building shatters into rubble that can expectably hurt you.

Final Smash - Creepy Red[]

Godzilla is swapped out for 40 seconds for Creepy Red. The beast is huge, invincible, and has his own moveset:

Neutral B - Incineration[]

Red breathes a huge stream of fire that won't die out the longer you use it. It truly is a massively devastating attack related to burning people. It can also be CHARGED! Of course this deals massive afterburn and creates flame traps the size of 3 Project M Bowsers. Anyone who enters one from the top will be instantly KO'd, at least in terms of stamina matches.

Side B - Tentacle Fangs[]

Red opens his large mouth and shoots out a tentacle with a pair of fangs at the end in a fashion similar to the way Scorpion throws his spear in any of the Mortal Kombat games. They latch onto the opponent and pull him/her in, crushing him/her into a bloody mess and it is really emphasized in stamina matches. They can also manage to grab items and make Red eat them up.

Up B - Flight Form[]

Red sprouts wings and then jumps up into the air. You can fly for as long as this lasts and in any direction as well. Press A in this form to devour anyone you run into. You can also use your neutral and side specials as you fly around. While flying, you can even aim the fang-ended tentacles up or down, giving you extra aim. If you land on the ground, you change back to your regular form.

Down B - Bellowing Roar[]

Red lets out a loud, deep roar as he faces the screen. Everyone on the stage gets stunned, land or air. Any items near Red will be pushed away at a maddening force and speed, but the impact they do depends on their sizes obviously. The bigger the item, the slower the travel speed (unless it would be a barrel or a bizarrely wheeled crate from good old SSBB).

Taunts[]

Up/Dn: *eyes glow red*

Sd: *stares directly into your soul*

Extras[]

In water, CR goes into his aquatic form. He can swim for an infinite period of time. In his aquatic form, you can press A to shoot a stream of needles. Jump out of the water, and you can harm opponents like a shark. If you die in this form, it won't affect Godzilla's stocks.

Character Description[]

Godzilla[]

Godzilla is a gigantic mutant dinosaur, transformed from the fallout of an atomic bomb test. As the Godzilla series continued, the great beast was developed as a character, and has become a savior of the earth, saving the world from other monsters (usually from Outer Space) like King Ghidorah, Gigan and MechaGodzilla, along with other monsters like Rodan and Mothra.

Godzilla is one of the defining aspects of Japanese pop culture for many people worldwide. Though his popularity has waned slightly over the years, he is still one of the most renowned monster characters in the world. To this day, Godzilla remains an important facet of Japanese films, embodying the kaiju subset of the tokusatsu genre. Godzilla has been called a filmographic metaphor for the United States, starting out as a terrifying enemy and later a strong ally and defender in times of need. The earliest Godzilla films, especially the original Gojira, attempted to portray Godzilla as a frightening, nuclear monster. Godzilla represented the fears of many Japanese of a repeat of the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.[5] As the series progressed, so did Godzilla himself, changing into a less destructive and more heroic character as the films became increasingly geared towards children. Today, the character has fallen somewhere in the middle, sometimes portrayed as a protector of the Earth (notably Tokyo) from external threats and other times as a bringer of destruction.

Godzilla's appearance has changed between films over the years, but many defining details have endured. In the Japanese films, Godzilla is depicted as a gigantic dinosaur with rough, bumpy (usually) charcoal gray scales, a long powerful tail, and bone colored dorsal plates shaped like maple leaves. His origins vary somewhat from film to film, but he is almost always described as a prehistoric creature, and his first attacks on Japan are linked to the beginning of the Atomic Age. In particular, mutation due to atomic radiation is presented as an explanation for his great size and strange powers. Godzilla's iconic design is composed of a mixture of various species of dinosaurs; specifically, he has the body and overall shape of an old model of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, the long arms of an Iguanodon, and the dorsal plates of a Stegosaurus.

Super Godzilla[]

As Super Godzilla, Godzilla's appearance changes. His skin tone changes to a dark purple from the original greenish gray, his chest and abdomen region is colored neon green, while below his chest, there is a rib cage pattern that holds his lower abdomen. Also below the chest, there is also a new "Core" that has the ability to control energy inside Super Godzilla's body and release it into a powerful blast of energy in the form of a beam with a Godzilla head in the front of the beam. Godzilla's size increases a short amount, as well as an increase in strength due to a grow in muscle mass with two massive spikes sprouting from his shoulders. In the Japanese version of the game, Super Godzilla also has a Crest, or Crown, on his head, as well as what appears to be claws above the Mandibles.

Trivia[]

  • Godzilla's roar is a famous sound effect. Over the years, it has changed considerably, sounding different almost every time and having many variations for the different emotions. It was first created by Japanese composer Akira Ifukube by rubbing a resined glove over the strings of a contrabass.
  • That's a lot of fish.
