Entrance[]
Bookcase[]
A bookcase flips open and Klaus walks out of it. The bookcase flips back shut blending in with the background.
Special Attacks[]
Neutral B - Lobber[]
Klaus gets out his and Violet's answer to getting rid of rats and crabs in the PC version of the game adaptation of the movie. While the lobber is out, Klaus moves like he is carrying a cracker launcher, allowing you to angle the projectile Klaus will shoot. Each type of ammunition can be selected with L and R. Here is the ammo Klaus has for the lobber (which is shot by pressing B):
Ammunition | Effect |
---|---|
Rotten Eggs | The eggs have 1/3 chance of poisoning the opponent. |
Bubble Gum | These slow down opponents temporarily. If it hits the ground, opponents walking on it are restricted from jumping much. |
Horseradish Globs | If a glob hits the ground, there's 1/3 chance it becomes edible. |
Water Balloons | These decrease the freeze resistance an opponent has and put out fires, along with afterburn. |
Bananas | They are a slip trap if they hit the ground. |
Press down+B to put the lobber away.
Side B - Smasher[]
Klaus gets out a jack-in-the-box with a fork and a boot. The smasher will spring open with a boot over the jack. The range of this invention can increase by charging it up. The closer an opponent is to the smasher, the more knockback damage taken. At a great-enough charge, it can break open crates and barrels like in the PC game. It can also manage to strategically knock over anyone stunned.
Up B - Grappling Hook[]
Klaus gets out a grappling hook comprised of an umbrella's skeleton, a rug, and rings from a shower curtain. On land, you can drag opponents to you with this and walk around as you prepare the shot (thus meaning you tap the analog stick in the direction you desire to throw it in). In the air, this just grabs the edge. If you're on a wall while the hook is latched onto an edge, you can scale the wall like in the third act of the movie.
Down B - Lockpick[]
Klaus gets out a lockpicking invention comprised of the wire of a hanger, a record from the Bald Man, and a pencil sharpener's turning handle. This can remove traps with ease. If you think that's all it does, think again! It can also disable special attack cancellation early. The wire will stab anyone who runs into Klaus (in the general direction he's facing).
Final Smash - Burning License[]
Klaus leaves the stage and enters the tower where after a cutscene from the PC game, a crosshair appears on screen. You can move it around with the analog stick and shoot magnified sunbeams with the A button. They will manage to burn anyone shot and they turn items into small flame traps like when they hit CD-i Zelda's lantern (while the flames are still active). After 5 shots or 15 seconds, the final smash ends.

Character Description[]
Klaus Baudelaire is the middle child of the Baudelaire orphans. He often finds his solitude in reading books. Nothing had pleased him more than spending an afternoon filling his head with their contents. And everything he read, he remembered. Now in Lawl Galaxy, he uses some of the inventions Violet made for them both. Armed with those, he is prepared. Prepared is a word which here means completely ready for an event or something.
