Special Moves

Standard B- Pogo Jump

Scrooge takes out his cane and bounces on its tip once it hits anything it lands. This move can only be used if Scrooge is in the air or after jumping, just like in DuckTales (game). Once Scrooge enters his "Pogo-Stance", he will travel downwards in the same speed as the Ice Climbers' down aerial. When he lands on an opponent, he will deal 9% damage to that opponent and cancel their attacks. If the attack hits a stationary item, like a crate, a barrel or similar things: the item will break upon contact. However, this can backfire if Scrooge bounces on a bomb, thus making him take damage and cancel the bouncing. Scrooge is also open to be attacked in any other direction except from below; if he gets hit then the attack will get cancelled as well. Scrooge can also only perform 5 bounces in a row, after the fifth bounce he has to wait 10 seconds before he can bounce again.

Side B- Flame Torch

Scrooge puts away his cane and takes out an active torch. While he is holding the torch, the opponents that are trying to attack him will have their attacked prevented, because of the heat of the torch. The heat will also deal 1%/second to all opponents that are close to Scrooge. Scrooge can also walk back and forth while holding the torch and while he is walking, but he cannot jump. The opponent that is standing in front of him will be forced to walk backwards if Scrooge is walking towards that opponent. However, if Scrooge is holding the torch for too long (5 seconds), he will drop it and take damage himself. When the torch is dropped though, both Scrooge and the opponents will take a similarly amount of damage as Bill Bye's "floored" Red Paint if they walk on the torch. Scrooge can throw the torch by pressing Side B while holding it to prevent risking taking damage. Once the torch has disappeared from the stage, Scrooge has to wait 8 seconds before he can summon a new one.

Up B- Air Swim

Scrooge starts awkwardly swimming upwards. During the 3 seconds Scrooge is swimming, the player has full control over his movements. The player can choose between slow moves with the control-stick that is good for avoiding projectiles and air attacks from the opponents or the player can perform faster moves with the control-stick to make Scrooge swim much faster in one direction. Once the 3 seconds has passed by, Scrooge will be unable to do anything until he lands on a solid platform. Scrooge can cancel this move with one of his aerials, but that will stop the counter and make him fall as well. Finally he can if he swims into another opponent who is trying to recover, climb onto that opponent's back and hi-jack until the opponent's Up B ends.

Down B- Cane Swing

Scrooge takes out his cane and enters an immobile "Golfer-Stance". If the player presses B while Scrooge is in this stance, he will swing his cane like a gold club. This will reflect projectiles back at the opponents either straight forwards or in a 45 degree angle upwards if the move is timed correctly. The angle of the reflected projectile is decided by the direction the player holds the control-stick while Scrooge is in the "Golfer-Stance", forwards shoots the projectiles forwards and upwards shoots the projectiles in an angle. If Scrooge is standing next to an unused item, Scrooge can enter the stance to shoot away the item in the same way as the reflected projectiles, except without worrying about the strict timing. To return to his normal battle-stance, the player has to press Down B again. He is also open to grabs and attacks from behind while in the "Golfer-Stance".

Final Smash- Diamond Eruption

The camera zooms in on Scrooge McDuck who becomes worried since he feels the presence of an Earthquake in the far away distance. Then the camera will change focus to the volcano in "Ali Bubba's Cave", as it shakes more and more violently until it erupts and shoots out countless diamonds towards the stage. Then Launchpad will show up and tell Scrooge to take cover under a boat, as the camera changes back to the "Smash-perspective". This Final Smash acts similarly to Ness' and Lucas' Final Smashes in Brawl, except the downpour covers the entire stage but does not do as much damage and knockback as the meteorites the "Mother-Boys" summons. The diamond downpour will continue on for 4 seconds and when those 4 seconds has passed by, Scrooge will come out under his boat-shelter and starts to swim around in the diamonds that landed on the stage. These diamonds have created huge piles that will stays on the stage for 4 more seconds after the downpour ended and they will slow the opponents down if they are trying to move across them. After these 4 more seconds has passed by, Scrooge will tell Launchpad to transport all these diamonds to his vault and they will disappear from the stage. An opponent that had 0% damage before the Final Smash started will have 55% when the Final Smash is over, if they have not lost a stock by getting knocked out by the knockback of the diamonds.
